Hello, hello! My name is Fiona Clare Altschuler and I am seventeen years old. I live in an old stone house in Maryland with my parents, four little sisters, and two brothers — and assorted goats and chickens. I am a happy Catholic; I attend a beautiful Latin Mass church and sing Gregorian chant in the choir! My patron saint is St Gianna Molla. I have been homeschooled all my life, and my favorite subjects are literature and language. Latin and French are both big passions of mine!

I love reading. Some of my favorite books are Les Miserables by Victor Hugo, Harry Potter by JK Rowling, Kristin Lavransdatter by Sigrid Undset, The Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkien, The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, The Unselected Journals of Emma M Lion by Beth Brower, and Gone With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell.

But most of all, I love to write! I have been telling stories since before I could write, and my love has only grown as I have. My short stories, poems, and essays have been published in Stone Soup, Commonplace Quarterly, TCKs for Christ, and Westward Quarterly.
